Rhode Island and Delaware also hold their primaries on Tuesday — wrapping up the 2022 primary calendar and setting the final pieces of the playing field for the eight-week sprint to November’s midterm elections.

Rhode Island chooses candidates in a competitive home race
The field is set for what is expected to be one of New England’s most competitive congressional races this fall, after Rhode Island State Treasurer Seth Magaziner won the Democratic 2nd District primary. of Congress, CNN predicted.
He now faces Republican Allan Fung, the mayor of Cranston, in the district where longtime Rep. Jim Langevin is retiring.
