: Amazon.com Inc will acquire iRobot in an all-cash deal for approximately $1.7 billion, the robot vacuum maker announced Friday.
The world’s largest online retailer will acquire the company for $61 per share, valuing the company at a 22% premium to the stock’s last closing price.
Once the deal closes, Colin Angle will remain as iRobot’s chief executive.
