After years of butting heads with fans and the media, Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez want the world to know there’s no bad blood between them.

The model and pop star attended the Academy Museum’s second annual gala in Los Angeles on Sunday night, where they posed together to shut down feud rumors.

Not only were they all smiling, but the couple also shared a sweet embrace, captured by photographer Tyrell Hampton. He posted the photo on Instagram, along with the caption “intrigue”.

The surprise moment comes on the heels of Bieber’s appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast last month, where she addressed fan speculation for years that she was dating husband Justin Bieber as he was still seeing Gomez.

Gomez and Justin Bieber dated publicly from 2010 to 2017. Justin and Hailey Bieber, who previously dated, got engaged in 2018 and married a few months later.

When ‘Call Her Daddy’ host Alex Cooper asked Bieber to be called an ‘at-home tow truck’, the model told Cooper she hadn’t dated her husband as he was with Gomez, saying it wasn’t in character.

“When he and I started, like, dating or, like, anything like that, he was never in a relationship, ever at any time,” the 25-year-old said. “It’s not my character to mess with someone’s relationship. I would never do that.

A few days later, Gomez apparently responded to Bieber’s remarks in a TikTok live, where she said she didn’t support hate speech and asked fans to be kind.

“It’s not fair, because you should never talk to anyone the way I saw it,” Gomez said.

“If you’re supporting Rare,” she continued, referencing her beauty line, “I can’t thank you enough, but know that you stand for what that means too. And that’s that words matter. Really important.
