Brighton frustrated in home stalemate against Forest

BRIGHTON, England: Brighton and Hove Albion have gone without a goal for their third Premier League game in a row as they drew 0-0 at home to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday (October 18).

Roberto De Zerbi’s side dominated throughout, but lacked the power as Forest held on after a tough point.

The first high-profile clash between the sides since 1983 was hardly a classic as Brighton endured a frustrating evening in their 200th Premier League game.

Ranger Dean Henderson kept busy as Brighton created chances, with Leandro Trossard and Solly March both saving shots while Trossard hit the crossbar.

Tariq Lamptey and Pascal Gross both had good chances for Brighton after the break, while Forest rarely managed an attack and failed to register a shot on target.

However, it was an encouraging point for Forest as they moved from the bottom of the table by six points.

Brighton remained seventh on 15 points but after four games De Zerbi is still looking for a first win.
