FC Barcelona defender Sergino Dest has been loaned to AC Milan in Serie A for a year with an option to make the move permanent, both clubs announced on Thursday.
The Ajax Amsterdam youth product, who has represented the United States 17 times, joined Barca in 2020 from the Dutch side.
The 21-year-old has made 72 appearances for the Spanish side, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
Dest is Milan’s seventh signing since last season as they look to defend their first Serie A title in 11 years.
After four games before the duel with city rivals Inter on Saturday, they are in fifth place with eight points.
