Federer teams up with Nadal at the Laver Cup for the final

LONDON: Roger Federer will join forces with long-time rival Rafael Nadal for the final match of his glittering career, organizers of the Laver Cup announced on Thursday (September 22).

The 20-time Grand Slam winner will play doubles with the Spaniard, who has won 22 Majors, on Friday at the O2 Arena in London.

Federer, whose last competitive game was lost to Hubert Hurkacz in the Wimbledon quarter-finals last year, is struggling with knee problems.

The Laver Cup is a team competition pitting Team Europe against Team World.
