Is this goat the GOAT? A child with long ears is taking Pakistan by storm

KARACHI: A kid with extraordinarily long ears has become something of a media star in Pakistan, with its owner claiming a world record that may or may not exist.

Simba now lives a pampered existence in Karachi, where he was born last month with surprisingly long ears – and which have grown further to 54cm.

Breeder Mohammad Hasan Narejo says he has approached Guinness World Records to see if his load can be included as greatest of all time, although a category for ‘longest-eared goat’ does not appear not currently on the organization’s website.

“Within 10-12 days of his birth, he was already appearing in all the national and international media – and winning a beauty contest,” proudly says Narejo.

“In 30 days, he became so popular that even a famous personality can take 25 to 30 years to reach that level of fame.”

Simba’s ears are so long that Narejo has to fold them over his back to keep the little blooper from standing on them.

He also designed a harness so Simba could wear the long lugholes around his neck.
