Ivana Trump’s death was accidental: Examiner


Ivana Trump, the first wife of former US President Donald Trump who died on Thursday, has died in an accident after sustaining blunt-force injuries to her torso, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) in New York announced on Friday. .

A police spokesperson said Thursday that Ivana Trump was found dead on the stairs of her apartment and foul play was not suspected.

“The medical examiner has determined that the cause of his death was an accident caused by blunt force injuries to his torso. After releasing this decision, the OCME will not comment further on the investigation,” the OCME said in a statement.

Ivana was the mother of the former president’s three oldest children and helped him build some of his iconic buildings, including the Trump Tower. She was 73 at the time of her death.

The couple married in 1977 and divorced in 1992. They had three children together: Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric.
