MILAN: Dolce & Gabbana teamed up with American reality TV star Kim Kardashian during Milan Fashion Week on Saturday as the Italian luxury house showcased its latest collection of women’s wardrobes.
Against a giant screen showing a black-and-white video of Kardashian eating spaghetti, the models wore embellished corset dresses, cropped tops with high-waisted skinny pants and sparkly or sheer dresses. Skirts were long and thin while jeans were ripped or embellished.
Some models wore large necklaces that read “KIM” or “LOVE”.
The color palette consisted mostly of black, white, shiny silver, with additional pops of leopard print.
The label, led by design duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, teased the #CiaoKim collaboration ahead of the show with short videos of Kardashian being photographed by paparazzi.
Kardashian, wearing a shimmering black dress, closed the event by waving to the audience followed by designers Dolce and Gabbana.
Milan Fashion Week runs until Monday.
