Hockey Canada has announced that CEO Scott Smith is absent, “effective immediately.”
Additionally, the entire Hockey Canada Board of Directors has agreed to step down.
“An interim management committee will be put in place which will guide the organization until at the latest a newly constituted board appoints a new CEO to lead the organization,” Hockey Canada said in a statement Tuesday.
