BEIJING: China’s coal imports rose 12.2% in September from the previous month as lower Indonesian coal prices and tighter domestic supply boosted purchases.
Coal imports totaled 33.05 million tonnes last month, down from 29.46 million tonnes in August and 32.88 million tonnes last September, data from the General Administration of Customs showed on Monday.
